Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Scribe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
What Scribe does
Scribe records, transcribes, and analyses your meetings and conversations using AI. Transcripts, summaries, action items, and speaker identification are generated automatically and may not be 100% accurate.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Obtaining consent from all participants before recording any conversation. Recording without consent may be illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Using Scribe only for lawful purposes
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- Any content you record, store, or share through the app
Recording consent
This is important. Laws around recording conversations vary by country and region. In many places, all parties must consent to being recorded. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you comply with applicable laws before recording any conversation.
Subscription and billing
Scribe is a paid subscription service. By subscribing:
- You authorise us to charge your Apple ID on a recurring basis
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods
Intellectual property
You own your recordings and transcripts. We claim no rights over your content. By using Scribe, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.
Accuracy of AI output
Transcripts, summaries, and action items are generated by AI and may contain errors. Do not rely on Scribe output for legal, medical, financial, or other critical decisions without independent verification.
Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.
Limitation of liability
Scribe is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnusBox Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Scribe after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
